La la la...

So the fire hall never called me back. so screw them. but mom found another place... a bed and breakfast place with a hall thats supposed to be really pretty. we're gonna check that out... it sounds really nice so i hope it works out. i think i may have settled on a dj too, but i cant actually book them for a while... we gotta make the deposit to our photographer first which will be fairly soon! Exciting!!! For now im gonna watch Secret of Nihm! yay!

Booking Vendors...

Okay, so... I've known for a while who I wanted to be as our photographer... that's not an issue. (just in case you were wondering her name is Krystal Mann and the website is www.mintandsage.com), but the other stuff is not as easy... Mom found a firehall towards Millersville, I think she said. I tried to call them today cause I wanna check it out. It's actually supposed to be pretty nice apparently. So anyway, I called them and left a message and told them that it would be for a wedding reception, and low and behold no one called me back. I called a second time too... still no answer, and no call back. Tiny bit frustrating. So... I'll call again tomorrow and if they don't pick up... I might just make the trip down there anyway and... screw it, I bust the door down if i have to... ahhah... ok. so i wont bust it down. but i will show up unannounced. whatever, i need to stop at home anyway. so thats the newest update. i have/had a photographer and we've begun the venue hunt. FAAAAAAAAAAANTASTIC! oh... oh.... yeah ... i dunno if ive mentioned before but aside from lillian being my MOH and sarah, mirit, and andy v. being my bridesmaids... ive asked titi melissa to be my madrina and ive just asked tio charlie like.... 30 minutes ago if he'd be my padrino. we also now have a best man and a grooms men... (kyle mann, best man..... brandon yenser, groomsmen). So... yay!... alright... the library computer is yelling at me that my session will end in 3 minutes. gotta go! lata!

WOW...

So its been pretty insane lately. As I may have mentioned in my last entry, wedding planning has taken a temporary backseat. We just opened "Home Sweet Home for Christmas" yesterday... and while fun, the rehearsal process was just a slight bit stressful... although I have a feeling its like that for everyone involved haha. In any case, I have 4 days off coming up which will probably be spent 1. sleeping. 2. reading. 3. planning for my wedding or 4. completely wasting my time with something unproductive. hee hee. Let me also just say I'm psyched for Christmas. Not for any reason in particular other than the fact that I just effing love Christmas!!! I know it's a little 'early', however as my friend Steven pointed out... we ARE working in a Christmas show... we might as well be in the mood for it! haha. And 101.3 is already playing Christmas music apparently... so what better time than now?! :D

Slow Down

yep. so here i am. there has been a major slowdown of the whole planning thing... not cause of anything bad, but because i ran out of stuff to do! haha. the main task i had given myself was to find a dj, but most of them want to meet with you BEFORE they give you a quote, which is all well and good, but i dont have time for that right now because of the christmas show. mom has been given the awesome task of finding venues... and keith... well he has absolutely no clue whats going on hahaha. we already have invitations, and an idea for seat placement cards. i have found my decorator :D haha ... im gonna ask my stylist... to be my stylist... should be simple enough heh. we have a photographer... i know what dress i want and some of the bridesmaids are gonna have... keith still needs to TELL people we're even engaged... sometimes i dont understand that boy haha :) but he DID ask kyle to be his best man, to which kyle replied yes. i know i have a year and a half still... but i need to have this shiz planned man. i want solid confirmation on everything like... 6 months before. hahahaha. im insane. i know. this is like, the last thing that i can ever be like that in my life though... so im taking full advantage of it. no more having my life planned out five years in advance... my career choice doesnt allow for that... which drives me nuts.... cause i need to have my life planned out 5 years in advance.......... so to make up for it im gonna have my wedding planned out a year in advance. hahhahaha... i know its unrealistic... but who cares. gotta have goals right? haha

Welcome to my wedding blog... that probably no one will read hee hee :) But thats okay... cuase it'll give me a place to word vomit about everything that's going on concerning my wedding without giving my fellow myspacers a giant "shut the hell up already!" migrane :D :D This is obviously my first post... which i would like to refer to as my 'setup' post. cause im only typing this to get a feel for blogger and to set up my account. so... check back soon... im sure there will be plenty of rants to follow :)
